The NCC is the set of technical rules that governs how buildings get designed and built in Australia. It covers the basics: structural safety, fire protection, access, health & amenity, and energy efficiency, with state-based variations.
A NCC consultant checks your design against the Code and figures out the most practical way to get it compliant. The earlier they’re brought in, the better. Catching an issue at the design stage is a lot easier than fixing it mid-build.
